Day 1

So far today I have consumed:

  • 2 lettuce scoops with mayo and 2 bacon strips (0 carbs)
  • bulletproof coffee, no cream or sweetener (0 carbs)
  • 8 chips with queso flameado with diced fajita beef (as best I can tell, under 5 carbs with the chips and dip)

I met my husband for lunch and ate as much of the queso as I wanted but only got through about half before feeling full and passing it over to him. It was very rich and really delicious, and I wish I could tell you where we were so you could try it for yourself but I don’t want to get in trouble for sneaking our chips in (as you can see we did in the picture). Maybe email me and I’ll confess in private if you’re local.

Tonight we’ll be having some sliced avocado (2 carbs), a little bit of leftover ribeye steak (0 carbs), up to 32 more chips (around 8 more carbs) and warm crab rangoon dip (3 carbs). Even if I ate 32 more chips, with the dip and avocado I’m still not over my limit of 22 net carbs – and I plan to eat some steak first so I don’t go overboard because this dip is delicious af.

Though it goes against my core belief system and my OCD dependence on routines, I will be weighing myself daily this week to make sure the chips aren’t ruining an entire month of cleanse efforts – 2 straight days of gains and it’s back to chicken soup detox hell, y’all.

On the other hand, if I lose even a pound, it’s 7-layer Taco (dip) Tuesday tomorrow šŸ™‚
